Category Management Trainee Programme
The 3 modules
- Getting to know our daily challenges directly at the POS by working in our sales channels
- Secondment at a store abroad and involvement in purchasing-related projects
- Acquiring extensive knowledge starting with the basics to managing a product group independently
These sub-areas are rounded off by acquiring specialist knowledge about goods and seasonal variation along with knowledge of the merchandise management system. The theoretical know-how and practical experience you gain during your training, combined with your passion for retail, will prepare you perfectly for the exciting work performed by Category Buyers. You will put your analytical perception and skills to good use to create the product range for your product group and continuously develop our product range in line with customer requirements.
Acceptance onto the programme
- In order to be accepted onto our Category Buyer trainee programme, you have to go through an employee application process involving several stages. In addition to an in-person interview, the process also includes participation at an assessment centre, including a vocational assessment to evaluate your potential.
