This part-time position (20 hours per week) offers an excellent entry-level opportunity into the legal field. You will be part of the Legal/Compliance BILLA CEE / PENNY International / BIPA International department.
We are a small, dedicated, and humorous team that supports our national organizations across a wide range of legal matters through analysis, research and the assessment of practical implications. Whether it’s European law, contract law, corporate law or other legal areas – variety is guaranteed.

Job description
- As part of the legal team, you will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support. You will research, analyze, draw conclusions, prepare documents and information, coordinate and document on a variety of topics and issues.
- You will assist in conducting antitrust training and drafting guidelines. You will also coordinate related topics at headquarters and in the countries.
- You will obtain shareholder resolutions and take care of the associated documentation.
- You will coordinate the conclusion of internal and external contracts.
- With regard to IP law, you will work closely with the central IP department in Cologne.
- You will provide project coordination support for the implementation of EU regulations and internally initiated projects.
- Ad-hoc requests further complement the diverse profile of this interface role.

Qualifications
- We are looking for a committed individual with a commercial education (HAK, HASCH, apprenticeship) and a keen interest in legal issues. A degree (or ongoing studies) in law is an advantage.
- Very good written and spoken English is a must, German is desirable and any other language (BG, CZ, HR, HU, IT, RO, SK) is very welcome.
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- You enjoy working with people from other cultures and countries.
- You describe your approach to work as solution-oriented and pragmatic, independent and structured, proactive and responsible.
