Jenbach: A rail hub between the Zillertal and Lake Achensee

Jenbach is located in the Schwaz district in the Lower Inn Valley and, as the starting point for the historic Zillertal Railway and the nostalgic Achensee Railway, serves as an important transportation hub for the region. The market town thus connects the Inn Valley with the Zillertal and the picturesque Achensee, Tyrol’s largest lake. The Inntal Autobahn and the railroad provide good connections to Innsbruck and Kufstein. After work, it’s worth taking a trip to nearby Achensee for swimming or hiking.
