Typical working day in a full-time retail job

  • Customer advice and sales:You advise customers competently, respond to their wishes and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Product presentation and shelf maintenance:You take care of an appealing presentation of each category, correct price labeling and full shelves.
  • Cashier activity:You process payment transactions reliably and ensure that purchases are completed in a friendly manner.
  • Goods receipt and inspection:You will assist with the receipt, inspection and storage of goods.
  • Compliance with quality and hygiene standards:Cleanliness, freshness and tidiness are your top priorities.
  • Teamwork:In your job, you will work closely with colleagues from Sales and Logistics.

Income and salary

The gross salary according to the collective agreement is at least € 2,251 per month (full-time), depending on qualifications and professional experience.
